MFC stands for Melamine Faced Chipboard — a chipboard core laminated with a decorative melamine surface. It is durable, easy to clean and ideal for cabinets, wardrobes and shelving.

Is MFC the same as melamine-faced MDF?

Not exactly. Both have melamine faces, but the core differs: MFC uses chipboard while MF-MDF uses medium-density fibreboard. We specialise in MFC.

Blum Blumotion clip-on soft close piston designed for inset or fully cranked clip-on hinges (including 100°, 107°, and 120° hinges). This damper provides smooth and controlled soft closing of cabinet doors, improving functionality and reducing impact noise. Supplied as a pack of 2 pistons. Typically, only one piston is required per door (larger doors or heavier applications may require two units).
