MFC stands for Melamine Faced Chipboard — a chipboard core laminated with a decorative melamine surface. It is durable, easy to clean and ideal for cabinets, wardrobes and shelving.

Is MFC the same as melamine-faced MDF?

Not exactly. Both have melamine faces, but the core differs: MFC uses chipboard while MF-MDF uses medium-density fibreboard. We specialise in MFC.

These modesty blocks, also known as “KD” blocks, are used throughout the furniture industry for assembling cabinets, worktops, and any boards requiring a secure 90° angled joint. Each block has 3 fixing holes for stability. Manufactured from durable brown plastic. Pack contains 10 pieces. Screws not included (suitable for 3.5mm countersunk screws).
